Life As A Autism Mom

In the calm of the night, she stands all by herself,
A mother’s heart, tough yet gentle like a shelf,
Her world shines in a different light,
Her love a powerful beacon, burning bright.

Her child dances to a soundless beat,
A symphony under the moon’s soft heat,
A language only a few can understand,
A journey with no clear path or demand.

Whispers of doubt, eyes that gaze,
They fail to see the love she displays,
The sleepless nights, the endless fight,
The tears she hides with all her might.

Her heart a shield, her soul a guide,
Through every storm, every tide,
She stands firm, unwavering, true,
For her child, she always knew.

The world may never comprehend,
The gentle touch of her hand, my friend,
The battles fought quietly, the cries,
The dreams reflected in her eyes.

But in her heart, she holds the key,
To a world that only she can see,
A love that knows no bounds or fear,
A mother’s voice, always near.

So let them judge, let them turn a blind eye,
To the beauty of her reality, let them try,
For in her strength, her love unfurls,
An autism mom, in her own brave world.
